One-month update after autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty

The hardest part after having my nose done with autologous rib cartilage was when I had cotton packing in at first. I could not breathe through my nose and could only breathe through my mouth, so eating was the hardest, and sleeping was uncomfortable for several days.. When I looked in the mirror on the day the splint was removed, there was still swelling, so it looked blunt from the front, but the line was gradually appearing from the side. The tip still feels hard when I touch it, but Dr. Lee at ItsB said the hardness would soften with more time, so I am waiting. The major swelling has gone down, but there is still some residual swelling. It is quite puffy in the morning and settles by afternoon. Most of the bruising is gone. I am satisfied for now, but I want to watch the progress.
