I had it done outside Seoul, and honestly, I did it when I was really young without thinking much... These days, it’s the information age, so people do a lot of legwork and choose clinics carefully before getting surgery, right? I... really had no thoughts back then, so I just went ahead and had it done at the clinic where my friend got her nose surgery. The reason was that I simply thought, since it was a clinic my friend had researched hard, it must be a good place~ ...^^ I didn’t even know what surgical methods there were. I just went in saying, please give me double eyelid surgery! The doctor said, you need ptosis correction~ and I didn’t know what that was, but I said, then please do that! and got it done;; I really don’t think anyone got eye surgery as thoughtlessly as I did^^ lololol
My eyes are naturally long horizontally, so they said I didn’t need any canthoplasty, and I honestly only got my eyes done. I’m about 60-70% satisfied with the result, because my eyes ended up slightly unevenㅜㅜ lol But I really didn’t have the confidence to go through anesthesia, surgery, and waiting for the swelling to go down again, so I gave up on revision surgery. Recently, just out of curiosity, I went to one plastic surgery clinic for a consultation, and they told me not to do it, saying it didn’t seem necessary.. haha So I gave up cleanly.
If I could go back to before I first had it done, I’d want to do a lot of online research and footwork first, then choose a clinic carefullyㅠㅠ Me when I was young... I was so immature and recklessly brave..... haha Still, my appearance upgraded a lot, so I’m satisfied with the surgery itself and think I was right to do it lol My confidence really increased a lot in life. In my 20s, I really received so much admiration for my looks from everyone, regardless of age or gender, and now I’m in my mid-30s and still get asked for my ID, hehe...
