The director has a “just trust me and follow my lead” style. His education and similar details are not presented very specifically. Since he has focused on one field at one place for a long time, he gives off a craftsman-like impression. However, there was no explanation of what the surgery is or how it is performed. It felt like I simply had to trust that it would go well. If you like that personality, you can choose him, but of course I hope the surgery goes well; if it does not, I wonder whether communication would be possible. I am also wondering whether he would listen when I explain my dissatisfaction, acknowledge the areas I am unhappy with, and provide good revision care.
