Eye Surgery Reviews

Double-eyelid surgery is never an easy procedure (successful second surgery with double-line removal)

My first double-eyelid surgery, which I begged my mother for as a child without doing enough research, was the biggest regret of my life. The crease was ridiculously high and didn’t suit my eyes, so I had sausage eyes for ten years. My uneven eyes were also severe: one side was an out-fold and the other an in-out fold, each doing whatever it wanted. My expression looked unnecessarily fierce, and people even said I looked like an auntie despite my age. I had become someone who retouched my eyes first every time I took a selfie Thinking I couldn’t go on like this, I booked a revision consultation at [Clinic A], known for lowering creases, and went in. The director checked every bit of spare eyelid skin and suggested lowering the crease through an incision while removing the double line. But what I wanted was a very thin, clean in-to-in-out crease. After examining my eye structure, the director honestly pointed out that combining medial canthoplasty restoration would be the surest way to tuck it neatly into an in-fold. But I really wasn’t willing to undergo restoration too... Fortunately, the director said there was no excessive exposure of the lacrimal lake or functional problem, so restoration was optional, and respected my wishes! I decided to skip restoration and have the director create the crease as closely as possible to my preferences Because the opening force of my two eyes was different, I also had ptosis correction through an incision while lowering the crease. After surgery, I sometimes wonder whether the inner corners would have tucked perfectly into an in-fold if I had also done restoration as recommended But honestly, I love the finished crease so much that I have not regretted it even a little Because I had insufficient spare skin, I was insanely worried about developing lagophthalmos after double-line removal. But my eyes feel not dry or tight at all when closing, and they close very naturally even after ptosis correction! The bruising and swelling were also genuinely mild compared with what I expected. The aftercare here was the best bbb. Basic swelling care was a given, and I also received scar care. Seeing them take such good care of me for one revision made me feel I had chosen the right clinic. Honestly, the surgery was definitely not cheap..!! If anyone is a student or young and tempted by event pricing or low costs, I really want to discourage you... I was exactly like that before..^^ Please, please understand that double-eyelid surgery is not an easy procedure either
