I did already have double eyelids, but the line was barely visible just by looking, so it wouldn’t have been strange to call them monolids lol I did want clear double eyelids, but the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is on the shorter side, so I wondered if it would be possible to raise the double-eyelid line enough to make a clear before-and-after difference. So I agonized a lot over whether to get double-eyelid surgery itself... After thinking about it, I decided I should at least go around for a few consultations. Every other place recommended a low line, but here the director asked what I thought about a lift. They showed me reviews too, and once the eyebrows were lifted and there was more space, the double-eyelid line could definitely be set more generously... So I decided to give it a try, went for a nice open-looking line, and got a forehead lift together with incisional double-eyelid surgery. I had quite a lot of swelling after surgery, but I guess time is the medicine, because as time passed it went down without me even noticing lol There is still a little left, but compared with the beginning it has become much more natural. Since I did the forehead lift too, I’m happy with my forehead line, and I like that my eyes look definitely clearer now~
