Hehehe before-before-before, from the start my nose was really wide, low, and had large nostrils, so I didn’t even hope for a glamorous nose like a celebrity’s. I just wanted a high-bridged + round, natural-looking nose that would suit my round face well! I also packed all my consultations into 3 days, taking the bus 2.5-3 hours round trip from Gyeonggi-do to Gangnam-Apgujeong and visiting 8 places.. lol So I ended up having surgery at Mint on 9/4! The surgery finished quickly too, and the director said I didn’t bleed much, so hemostasis went well. Maybe because of that, I really didn’t bleed much after surgery. I barely bruised, and I don’t think my facial swelling was severe either. About an hour after surgery, the director came, personally explained the aftercare, checked my nose, and then I was discharged! Aside from spending about 3 days before the packing was removed feeling like I was going to lose my mind x1000000, everything was fine lol
Since I had a bulbous nose + upturned nose, I had everything done: bridge, nasal tip, short nose correction, bulbous nose correction, and medial nostril sill/alar base reduction. (The materials were silicone and septal cartilage! They even anesthetized me in case they needed to use ear cartilage if there wasn’t enough septal cartilage for the tip, but they said the septal cartilage was sufficient, so they didn’t use it separately.) Among those, what I most wanted to improve was my large nostrils, which had been my biggest complex since I was young (nostrils that were very visible from the front and side). Unfortunately, the director said that with a type 3 upturned nose like mine, the nostril shape can’t be improved, and the only option is to reduce the nostril size itselfㅠㅠ So I was really worried that alar base reduction would make my nose look pinched, but with my current nose, I think it was corrected naturally without a pinched look! It’s not a high and slim nose like other people’s, but as time passes, I think it’ll become the naturally high nose that fits my face, just like I wanted! My bridge still looks like Avatar lol and there’s a lot of swelling at the tip, so it looks a bit unnatural like an upturned nose, but as time passes, won’t the tip come down a little more and the overall nose become slimmer??
Butㅠㅠ I’m a bit worried because it seems like more scar tissue than I expected has formed inside my nose (nostrils). People say scar tissue settles down with time, but since I have a lot of runny nose and it all hardens inside, it bothers me so much every time I breatheㅠㅠㅠ Scar tissue also formed where the stitches were inside.. This isn’t about the director’s skill but my own skin tendency, so there’s nothing to say, but it’ll get better with time, right..?
+In the post-op photos, the director told me not to touch the alar base reduction and columella scar areas with my hands yet, so I couldn’t put makeup on thereㅠ Looking at it now, the fact that I didn’t apply makeup only to that area came out as a shadow exactly like that
