I got non-incisional double eyelid surgery as soon as I turned twenty, and even though it was already more than ten years ago…;; maybe because I lost a lot of weight since then~ or maybe because I’ve gotten older~ the double eyelid line kept increasing to two or three lines, and now they overlap to the point that it’s uncomfortable when I open my eyes I looked into clinics because I wanted double eyelid revision surgery~ I went to three places total; I chose two after looking up reviews, and chose one because it was a recommended clinic
1. Private – Director ㅇㅈㅇ The clinic was pretty and spacious~ But there was a bit of a wait. I sat down, filled out the chart, and waited, and since the clinic was on a high floor, the view outside was nice. The consultation manager was kind and soft-spoken. She listened well, so I felt good from the first consultation I think I waited another 10 minutes before seeing the director~ But well~ I waited in the consultation room, so it was fine~ I was surprised because he looked younger than I expected, and even more surprised because he looked a bit tired haha. Still, he did the consultation sincerely. He held up a mirror and showed me directly while making the line. He made the line several times, but um… it went much more toward an outline than I had in mind, so I don’t think it matched my taste~ ;; He said he does not recommend non-incisional surgery for revision because it would come undone again.. He said it would be better to do incisional surgery + ptosis correction together, and since it was my first consultation, I just heard the necessary points and ended it feeling flustered
2. 1mm - Director ㄷㅇㄹ The wait was insane~ Even though I went with a consultation reservation, by the time everything was done and I came out, I had been at the clinic for almost two hours;; But the desk staff were kind, and I had the consultation with the manager first in the middle, so it was somewhat okay. The manager was a man~ It was interesting because it was my first time seeing a male manager The director was very chic~;; Still, without recommending any other unnecessary surgeries, he talked only about double eyelid revision~ He was blunt, but I really liked the line he made for me. He said I didn’t need ptosis correction and should only do incisional double eyelid surgery The cost was a bit high;; I only went to three consultations, but it was the highest~ I wondered if it was because it was revision surgery… but also thought, isn’t it too expensive for just double eyelids~ The manager tried to hold me a few times, telling me to make a reservation before leaving, but I had resolved that on the first day of consultations I would only do consultations, so I just left~ I liked the director’s consultation~ The wait was way too long though;;ㅠㅠ
3. Olo - Director ㅈㅅㅂ This was a private clinic I was recommended~ Since I went after the clinics above, I was a bit worn out, but thankfully the consultation started right away, and the consultation manager was also very kind. I just talked about the line I wanted and my concerns, and it ended briefly The director was also kind and considerate. He looked somewhat young, but I liked that he answered all the questions I asked with confidence, and he seemed to have pride in his surgeries. Likewise, he said I didn’t need ptosis correction and that revision surgery would be done with an incisional method He also made the line several times, and most of them were natural-looking lines, so I liked them. Since I was there, I also asked about canthoplasty, and he did not recommend lateral and lower canthoplasty~ He said not to do it anywhere, because it could cause sanpaku eyes~ The cost was also quite reasonable, but I didn’t make a reservation. As I said earlier, since these were my first consultations, no matter how much I liked it, I intended to just go around for consultations. The manager didn’t pressure me to reserve either, so I left the clinic comfortably~
After that, I went back for repeat consultations at Private and Olo~ I went back to Private because it was my first consultation and I felt like I hadn’t explained myself well, so I wanted to try making the line again. I went back to Olo because the director’s consultation and the cost were both okay For now, I’ve put down a deposit at one place I’ve made consultation reservations at a few other places too, but I’m debating whether to go or not
