I’m now 6 months post-nose surgery!!! They say 6 months is when it fully settles. When I stay still, it really feels completely like my own nose, with no foreign-body sensation at all. It’s still hard when I wash my face or apply makeup, though—is it going to be like this forever? People around me said there’s absolutely no sign I had surgery, and strangers wouldn’t be able to tell either. I don’t have a particular aesthetic goal; I just said that since my nose was naturally bulbous, I wanted only the tip improved, and they really did it very naturally. Instead, as the swelling went down, the tip dropped a little and the hump became slightly visible. Still, this actually makes it look more natural.
