Three-month review: male under-eye fat repositioning, fat grafting, and tear-trough grafting

I normally never post things like this, but when I think about how stressed I was about my under-eyes before surgery, I feel this is a record of my own, so I am going to write it like a diary.. My concern was simply that the bulging under-eye area made me look much older than my age. I always thought my expression looked gloomy, and whenever I met people, they kept asking if I was tired and telling me to go home and sleep.. Honestly, as a man, it was difficult to look for a clinic, and I was worried I would feel embarrassed going for a consultation. But many men seemed to visit [Clinic A], and when I actually went, I did not feel particularly self-conscious. I first had a consultation with the coordinator, and there was no pressure to add unnecessary procedures, which made me feel more comfortable. They also pointed out things I had not noticed because I am not very perceptive, and explained the price and surgical process clearly. During the doctor’s consultation, he examined my under-eye condition and explained plainly that repositioning alone would leave the hollow tear trough unchanged, so the tired-looking impression would not disappear; fat grafting and tear-trough grafting together would give a cleaner result. I trusted him and booked the surgery that day. There was another clinic I was supposed to visit, but it was far away and inconvenient, and the cost seemed reasonable by my standards, so I agreed. I was honestly nervous on the day of surgery, but because it was sedation anesthesia, I lay down, fell asleep, and woke up to find it was over. My under-eyes felt numb and sore, but rather than being extremely painful, they felt heavily swollen. I remember there being less swelling than expected that day. However, around the third day, a little yellow bruising appeared, so I had to wear glasses when going to work (my eyesight was good, but I wore fashion glasses.. lol). Fat was taken from my thigh for the graft, and that area felt sore for a few days, like the day after intense exercise. After about a week, the major swelling had completely subsided. I was too lazy to do compresses properly, but the swelling went down better than expected. I guess I have a good constitution..? Anyway, now that three months have passed, the fat has fully taken and everything looks completely natural. It is not overfilled at all, and my mom seems to like it even more. She says I used to always look tired and intimidating, but now I finally look cleaner.. lol lol lol. People around me originally told me to try a procedure first, so I had also looked into things like Juvelook, but I think it was good that I had surgery instead of spending that money.
