It has been a month since I had canthoplasty with Director Jo Hye-in at To Be. The residual swelling is completely gone, and my eyes became naturally larger to the point that people would not notice unless I told them. I decided on surgery because my outer eye corners were slightly upturned and my eyes felt stuffy when applying makeup, so I wanted them to look more open. I deliberated between incisional and non-incisional surgery, but I only had three days before returning to work and was worried that an incisional procedure might be irreversible, so I chose the non-incisional method. Right after surgery, I had no pain apart from a pulling sensation, and there was almost no bruising or swelling. I thought about it carefully before having surgery, and I am so satisfied that if it ever loosens, I would want to have the incisional method done again :)
