I underwent implantable contact lens surgery. I originally had nearsightedness and severe astigmatism. LASIK was possible, but since a large amount of cornea would have needed to be removed, I decided on implantable contact lenses. I could see well starting one or two hours after surgery. I can see well at 1.0 in both eyes, and I think I have developed a little dry eye (because I was not good about using the prescribed eye drops ;;). I regret not doing it sooner! It is really convenient and has improved my quality of life.
