LASIK Review After 2 Years

I had -4.75 vision plus astigmatism, so everyday life was impossible without glasses or contact lenses. Whenever I went out, I always wore contacts, so my dry eye was really severe. But I was scared because of possible LASIK side effects, so I kept putting up with it until I finally made up my mind and had surgery the year before last. It was like seeing the light lol

I already had dry eye, so I’m not sure if it got worse; it feels about the same. As for side effects, after a little over a year, I started getting glare from streetlights, night views, and other lights in the evening, so driving feels a bit scary. (I’m easily scared.) It’s not so uncomfortable that it affects normal daily life much. But my quality of life has honestly improved so much that if anyone around me is considering it, I definitely recommend it!
