Breast Surgery Reviews@breast-review

One month after choosing Mentor Extra while debating implants

Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery>Before<Day 34>Before<Day 34>I'm posting my one-month review after taking off the compression garment. I took photos before taking it off. For reference, I had small breasts that spread widely, and I got Mentor Extra 325cc on both sides. I made my list after reading reviews, and I chose the place that felt the most realistic when I was reading reviews. Reviews really helped me a lot, so I'm posting mine too. First of all, I really wanted breast surgery, but my boyfriend told me not to, so I kept putting it off and then secretly got it done. When I met him quite a while after surgery and told him, he was a bit unhappy at first, but he still took care of me kindly, worried about me, and kept asking all kinds of questions because he seemed curiousㅋㅋ I guess men are curious tooㅋㅋ

The director was the very meticulous and delicate type, and was extremely kind. He is the representative director, and I liked that only one doctor handles breasts. He also has a lot of experience, and the hospital itself is not new but an established place, so I trusted it. The biggest reason I chose it was definitely because the reviews were good.

On the day of surgery, I wasn't as nervous as I expected, but I had something to do in the morning so I scheduled the surgery for the afternoon, and the fasting made it hard because I was hungry and thirstyㅠㅠ The director did the design, I waited briefly, and then went in for surgery. I got nervous then, but fortunately the people in the operating room were kind too, so I relaxed. Once the anesthesia started, I had no memory, and when I opened my eyes I was in the hospital roomㅋㅋ Because of the anesthesia, my mind was foggy and my memory is hazy, but I remember crying because of the painㅠㅠ It was amazing how I quickly felt better after getting painkillers and being connected to a pain-control injection. The director came to the hospital room from time to time to check my condition, and the nurses also came by regularly to check on me. After I woke up from anesthesia, the breast pain was so strong that I didn't notice at first, but once the breast pain went away, my throat gradually started hurtingㅋㅋ On the way home, since I suddenly had breasts where there hadn't been any, they felt heavy, and maybe because of the compression garment, breathing was a little difficult.

Oh, and I was curious about what to prepare too, so I asked around. Bring something to drink on the day of surgery. You can drink water starting one hour after surgery. I bought orange juice and drank that, and seriously, nothing could have tasted better!! I gulped it down. Your blood sugar can drop, so I think it's good to bring a drink. When I got home and ate dinner, I couldn't eat as much as I expected and felt like I might get indigestion, so I only ate a little. I took my medicine and I think I just kept sleeping. Actually, I was unlucky and had inframammary fold incisions, so it did hurt, but it was more manageable than I expected. After surgery I kept feeling drained, then on day 3 I went to the hospital for follow-up and treatment, and when they removed the tape?! that had been attached, it felt so cool and somehow open and relieving. What was interesting is that from that day on, I had energy, could eat well, and started feeling okay. When I had my follow-up with the director, I told him the compression garment was too tight and my skin hurt from being pressed, and he said I could wear it over a thin camisole. So when sleeping, I wore a thin camisole and then the compression garment over it, and it was somewhat more comfortable.

From week 2, he said it was okay to wear a sports bra briefly when going out, so I tried going out in a sports bra I had bought in advance. But my breasts still hurt because the cups pressed on them, so I gave up. Since I went through the difficulty of surgery, I tried to follow everything they told me as much as possible, and I wore the compression garment no matter what until one month. There is still swelling, but my clothes definitely fit differently. I check in the mirror every day, and as the swelling goes down and they gradually become more natural, I just hope the swelling goes down more quickly and they become soft.

Now at one month, I've taken off the compression garment, I'm more comfortable, and I've gotten used to the weight of my breasts. They still don't feel like mine to the touch, and when I go out I wear a sports bra. When I bought it, I clearly thought I ordered a cup size with extra room, but maybe because there is still swelling, it feels compressed, and if I wear it for a long time it hurts. I think you can buy sports bras a little more generously sized. Watch how your swelling goes down and buy more!! A tip from experience!! Sleeping on my back is comfortable now, but lying on my side is still uncomfortableㅠㅠ If I hold out a little longer, it will get more comfortable, right? I'm the type who sleeps on my side, so I hope the day comes soon when I can sleep on my side.
