In 2014, I had my nose raised with 4 mm silicone and ear cartilage. That was 12 years ago. I am satisfied with the front view because it is round and soft-looking, but the side view is a bit… Maybe because the tip has dropped, my mouth looks like it protrudes. Fortunately, I have had no inflammation from the silicone. I started looking for clinics because I want to raise the tip and improve the nasolabial angle to reduce the protruding-mouth appearance. Since I am doing it anyway, I am considering replacing both the silicone and the tip with autologous costal cartilage. For those who had autologous costal cartilage, are you all doing okay? Did you have any complications?
