Several years after my first surgery, the shape on each side had changed somewhat, and there were areas that continued to bother me, so I went for a consultation about revision surgery. At first, I thought only the implants needed to be replaced, but there were more things than expected that needed to be checked, starting with the current condition of my breasts. They checked the implant positions and surrounding condition by ultrasound, and I explained each of the things that had been uncomfortable for me. Rather than simply listening and ending the consultation, the doctor explained why those issues were occurring. I especially appreciated that they immediately explained that the shape I want and what is actually possible may differ. I also never felt that they would simply make them bigger or do exactly whatever I wanted. I am looking into things more carefully than I did before my first surgery, but I feel that I have a clearer idea of what needs to be corrected. For now, I plan to consult with a few more places before deciding.
