Today is finally day 3 after my autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty! At the hospital where I had surgery, the nasal packing has to be removed on day 5, so I have to keep enduring it for two more days.. lololol But even with the nasal packing, I don’t have anything like panic from the packing, and I’m okay
The area where they took the autologous costal cartilage didn’t hurt right after surgery because of the anesthesia, then from the evening of the same day, the pain started coming little by little, and the next day after I woke up, it hurt a bit
But there were lots of reviews saying it hurts like you’ve been shot, so I was re~~~ally worried, and since I have experience from two C-sections, it didn’t hurt that much, and I was walking around fine from the day of surgery! But my nose was already small and short, and I didn’t have any spare skin at the nasal tip, so it really only got extended a tiny bit, and that makes me sad ㅠㅠ Everyone gets a glamorous nose when they use autologous costal cartilage, but sniff ㅜㅜ
