Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

5 months and 11 days after nose implant removal (about columellar scar)

It’s been a while since I had my nose removed, so I’m leaving a review. To say the conclusion first, I’m living with peace of mind now.

Until 3 months, my nose shrank, got pinched into a triangular shape, and looked so strange, but day by day it improved by tiny, tiny amounts that were almost unnoticeable. Currently, I’m satisfied to some extent. I hope the results continue to get even better.

For 2 weeks after removal, I liked it because it felt like my own nose, but the contracture period that started from week 2 made my nose look really awful. I think I struggled for almost 4 months.

To briefly describe my condition before removal, it was asymmetrical and pinched, and my nostrils were triangular and pointy. After that, that doctor jerk said he did everything he needed to do. When he did it for me and I reacted that way, he said he felt hurt, blah blah.. Then he said he is a doctor and a teacher, but that was such complete nonsense. Even if that person is a godlike doctor to someone else, if I ended up wrong and the response was awful, then he becomes HL HY ILL to me.

During the holidays, I saw some people and family, and people who know me didn’t notice I had anything done..ㅋㅋ My family even said my nose looks okay now, actually even better. But I think my natural nose was much better. I do think it’s close to my original nose, but my nose has definitely become a bit slimmer and a little shorter.

A little over 2 months in, my nose was getting better, but then I suddenly got COVID, so my nose shriveled again and looked really strange. My nose was extremely sensitive and changed so much day by day. Also, just when I thought my nose was getting better, it looked strange again at the beginning of the year.. I don’t know when it might look strange again, but right now I’m satisfied!!

Last time I was looking into nostril lowering, but at some point it came down, so I even wondered whether I applied for a consultation for nothing.. (There is some pinching, but not to the point that it bothers me a lot.)

I had some scarring on the columella, and I’m getting Saesal acupuncture at an oriental medicine clinic, and it definitely has an effect. They say it breaks up the sunken dermal layer and fibrosis, and new tissue grows in that area. After seeing before-and-after photos, I thought it was dramatic enough and decided to do it, and I am seeing results. I have 4 more sessions left, so I’ll share this later.

I’ll leave one more review later and then leave this community. I’ll reply to comments or messages that come before then as I have time.. My condition was so awful too, and I suffered a lot after meeting an incompetent, bottom-tier doctor. I hope everyone definitely meets a good doctor. (You really need to judge carefully whether you should leave something in and remove the rest, or do a complete removal!!)
