I naturally have a very lean body type, so I don’t put on weight easily. I could accept being thin in other areas, but I disliked comparing myself with others, and I think even comments meant as jokes hurt me more than I expected. I pretended not to care outwardly, but because my satisfaction with my body was so low, my self-esteem naturally became low too.
So after deliberating over breast surgery for a long time, I finally decided to have it. I visited many clinics for consultations, and after carefully choosing among them, I had surgery at [Clinic A], which reflected my needs and had good surgical skill.
There was a recovery period after surgery, so it was uncomfortable at first, and I had to wait a little until the shape fully settled. Still, as time passed and I could see the shape gradually settling into one that suited my body, I started thinking that I had made the right decision.
The best thing I noticed after surgery was that I no longer viewed my body negatively like before. Now I actually want to look for clothes that suit me, and I want to try wearing styles I used to avoid. It’s just an outward change, but it feels like my life has changed, so I’m extremely satisfied :)
