I told them I looked older than my age because of the area under my eyes, and a coworker said an under-eye surgery would probably help and even recommended a hospital that does it well, so I went to a plastic surgery clinic for the first time in my life. I had thought it was just a natural change that comes with age, but every time I had a meeting with a client or had work-related photos taken, I started thinking that looking older than my actual age could have a bad effect. I liked that this surgery wasn't excessive cosmetic surgery, but rather something that improves a tired-looking impression. The surgery finished much faster than I expected. I had the surgery on Friday and went to work on Monday, and it was fine enough for daily life. After about a month, it felt like my original face. Before, the bulge under my eyes made me look tired, but now it has smoothed out and gives a cleaner feeling. People often just say, "Your face looks better," without realizing I had surgery. Men usually feel some burden about plastic surgery, but I recommend under-eye fat repositioning because it seems like a surgery that gives a definite effect without making the change feel too extreme.
