Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

1-Year Review of Cheekbone Revision Midface Reduction

It had already been over a year since I had midface reduction surgery at Clinic OOO, back around July last year, but I had already undergone contour surgery before that... I had shaved down both the front and side cheekbones, but honestly there was no real change because it was done so naturally... Ha, I decided I wanted a revision surgery and looked into cheekbone revision, and after being recommended, I went in for a consultation..... At first I was worried because I didn’t have much information, but unlike what I feared, the doctor explained things in a really anatomical way..... Since it was a revision, he pointed out exactly the areas that had been stressful for me, and I really felt that the surgical method was different.. To be honest, the price was a bit high, so I hesitated, but.. my cheekbones had been such a huge source of stress that I didn’t have many options, so I think that’s what made me decide to go ahead with surgery.. The recovery process after surgery was honestly so hard.. The doctor said it would hurt more than I expected, but because I was under anesthesia, the surgery itself didn’t hurt. However, the swelling was less than I expected It actually felt like I was less swollen than after my first contour surgery? There was a process where they inserted a small tube because of the temporal muscles and drained the pooled blood, and that was kind of fascinating I only had gauze on and didn’t wear any compression band, but they explained that it wasn’t needed because the supporting ligament was lifted! Also, eating was more uncomfortable than I expected Opening my mouth went well because the doctor kept scolding me to do mouth-opening exercises, but due to muscle swelling, it took some time before chewing became completely comfortable So at first, even eating was surprisingly stressful... The doctor kept saying that elasticity and regeneration care were important, so I consistently received the laser treatment the clinic recommended, and I could definitely feel my skin settling in as time passed! They said management was important because the surgical method was different, and I thought that made sense too Still, if you’re someone like me who was disappointed with the result of the first surgery, I think this level of recovery is something you can live with, and I’ve been satisfied!! Of course, recovery took a long time and the cost was high, so I thought about it a lot, but I have no regrets now! Though I do sometimes think I wish I had done it here from the very first surgery
