How do I improve this? The numbness from under one eye down through the cheek to the upper lip only barely started returning six years after surgery (it’s still awkward to even say it has returned... I can tell hot from cold now, and if I scratch it with a fingernail, it’s only about 30% better from feeling like someone else’s skin). But is it even possible for a nerve to be damaged during cheekbone surgery???? No matter how much I look, I can’t find anyone like me. It’s so uncomfortable and upsetting, and I’ve just been living with it like, sigh, it’s not coming back anyway;; And I also want the fixation pins removed because I want to get massage therapy or gua sha, but if I have surgery to remove the pins, I’m worried they might touch the nerves again and make it worse, so even this is hard to decide easily. The severe cheek sagging seems to have gotten worse because they cut too much at 45 degrees, and for that there seems to be no answer, just bulging like bulldog jowls and deep nasolabial folds. I had been avoiding thinking about it, but lately I’ve started wanting to fix it again, so I’m just rambling....
