One month after revision for GIFT bulbous nose

The broad, blunt nose tip had always been such a concern for me. Since it was what people commonly call a bulbous nose, whenever people looked at me they would say my nose looked stuffy, and on days when I was swollen, all you could see was my nose. First of all, I preferred a private clinic director. I thought post-op care would be more thorough than at a factory-style clinic. I was so happy that Director Yoo Gi-hyeon at GIFT personally did the consultation. Since this was a revision surgery, I went to two more places first, but the director’s impression was so good, and he immediately caught my concerns and problem points. It was such a relief. The head manager also gave detailed explanations, and even the concerns I mentioned almost in passing, they made sure to contact me later and explain. Everyone was so kind that I felt at ease. Honestly, I wanted a nose that would suit my face and absolutely not look obvious, not a celebrity-style nose. Because I had a bulbous nose, I didn’t really understand the importance of the columella, but after studying noses I learned the nasolabial angle and columella volume are important too. But after consulting with the director, I trusted him and booked the surgery date right away for the following week. When the surgery day actually came, I was so scared, but the nurses in the operating room were all kind and explained everything step by step while preparing me, so I felt reassured. Right after it was over, my nose looked big and I was like, “Oh no, did it turn into a pufferfish?” But as the swelling went down, the nose that had been bulky my whole life became so naturally smaller, with absolutely no artificial look I really hate noses that look artificial and obvious, but the guys looked at me and couldn’t tell, asking if I had done something to straighten it or if I had lost weight, so I think it was a huge success.
