Nose Surgery Reviews

Finally got the refined line I wanted with nose revision surgery

I had nose surgery with ear cartilage 10 years ago, but as time passed, maybe the implant moved; when viewed from the front, the nasal axis was slightly crooked, and the side profile was too straight, which gave a strong masculine feeling, so it bothered me every time I took photos; as time went by, the bend in the bridge seemed to get worse, so after a long time thinking about it, I finally decided on revision surgery for the crooked nose and got it done at Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at ㅇㅇㄷ Plastic Surgery. For this revision surgery, I wanted to reconstruct a masculine nose line into a refined, elegant line that would look stylish, and more than anything, I sincerely hoped this would be my last revision surgery. The surgery used silicone for the bridge and donated rib cartilage for the tip, and after looking at the CT, they said the hump on the previous surgery had not been shaved down enough, so we decided to correct the hump at the same time. The tip from the earlier ear-cartilage surgery had weak support, but this time they explained that building the tip firmly with donated rib cartilage would greatly improve line retention, which was reassuring. They explained why the parts I was unhappy with after the first surgery had happened and how they could be improved this time, one by one, so even though it was a revision surgery, I think I was able to trust them and leave it to them. Right after surgery, honestly, the swelling was pretty severe so I was a bit flustered.. Once the splint came off and the big swelling went down, the difference was obvious, and I was satisfied. What I’m most satisfied with is that the crooked nose was clearly improved and the bridge settled in straight. I also really like how the masculine straight line changed into a refined line and the tip became slimmer and lifted, giving it a more sophisticated feel. It has a glamorous feel, but I’m also happy that it doesn’t look overly done.. Dr. Hwang Se-hwi properly improved even the parts that were disappointing from the first surgery, so personally I’m satisfied to the point of wondering why I didn’t do it sooner. Of course, there is still some minor swelling left, so I think it will settle more naturally with time, and I’m looking forward to seeing how much prettier it will get from here.
