Nose Surgery Reviews

The fourth and final nose revision, 2 weeks

It has already been 2 weeks since I had my nose revision surgery from Dr. Kim Hyun-ju, the CEO and chief surgeon at RU Plastic Surgery 🥹❤️ I had my fourth nose surgery this time to improve my low glabella and nasal bridge, nasal deviation and step deformity, the columella, and the nasolabial angle. I used fascia, acellular dermal matrix, silicone, and autologous rib cartilage! I already knew that RU was famous for nose revision surgery, but after having an actual consultation, I really remember how confidently the doctor spoke about my nose, which other hospitals had said would be difficult. In fact, this was a nose that had been removed early because the first surgery went badly, so my skin condition was really poor. My skin was stiff and did not stretch well, and my columella was almost nonexistent, so before the fourth surgery I honestly think I had already given up halfway. Whenever I took photos, I would always look at my nose first, and even when editing photos, I kept fixing only my nose… So this time I decided on surgery trusting the doctor, thinking it was truly my last chance, and the result came out so much better than I expected that I have been really happy lately.🥹 It has only been 2 weeks since the nose revision, so I still need to keep watching it, but I’m already very satisfied with how it looks now. In particular, before, my nose was always on my mind, but these days I’m surprised that I can hardly even remember my old nose haha. And I had the costal cartilage harvested because I used autologous rib cartilage, and the pain was not as bad as I expected, and the recovery process was fine too! Actually, I had visited pretty much every hospital that was said to be famous for nose revision, but there were places that told me my nose was difficult or that surgery would likely be hard. So I didn’t have high expectations this time either, and I truly had no idea I would get results this satisfying. More than anything, the doctor carefully checked my nose condition from before the revision and clearly explained what I wanted and what could be improved, so I think I was able to trust and leave it in their hands. I really respect that…🥹❤️ The staff were also so pretty and kind, and I liked that they took such careful aftercare after the surgery. Even after surgery, I felt like they kept taking care of me, which made me feel at ease! For those of you like me who are considering revision surgery after several nose operations, especially if you have been told at other hospitals that it would be difficult, I hope you can at least go in for a consultation. It’s still only 2 weeks in, so I’ll have to wait for the final result, but up to now this is a genuine, paid-for personal review (?) that I’m really satisfied with 🤍 I’m looking forward to seeing it become even less swollen and settle in more! ❤️
