At some point, I started noticing that my double-eyelid line seemed to be shrinking every time I did my makeup. It wasn't a particularly large line to begin with, but it felt like it was gradually becoming a subtle double eyelid? I got a consultation because I thought I might need eye-muscle correction, but the director explained that in my case the problem wasn't the eyes themselves, but that my eyebrows and forehead were dropping downward and covering my eyes. I thought forehead lifting might be too early since I'm still in my 20s, but I was told this is not necessarily a surgery only for older people. Listening to that made me realize I had been unconsciously using my forehead to open my eyes in daily life. After the surgery, my eye shape looks much sharper and cleaner, but it doesn't feel like my impression changed drastically or that the lift looks unnatural. I was worried about the scar too, but since it's hidden by my hair, it doesn't bother me much, and although there was swelling at first, it went down faster than I expected. If your eyes look heavy or you have a habit of using your forehead to open them like I did, I recommend getting a consultation.
