My AS didn’t go as expected anyway, so I already have a consultation booked for next week.. Then I got startled by a bad review on Threads and kept clicking through, only to find another review from last year saying the surgery went wrong too...; I already had some questions about my surgery results, but I had been holding back the negative feelings because I thought it was just the limit of my own condition. After seeing the hospital’s response in that post, I want to go over the parts I had been doubting. If there are any nose-surgery experts who know about these things, please let me know 1. After surgery, a large amount of scar tissue formed inside my nose. Can that be said to be because the surgery wasn’t done delicately? I already had a little scar tissue from a previous surgery, but it was small enough that I didn’t really notice it. During the consultation, the director diagnosed various things and also talked about the scar tissue inside my nose, so I thought it would come out cleanly. But even so, this time a lot of scar tissue was left behind, to the point that I worried others might be able to see it, so I was curious. 2. Along with the scar tissue issue, after surgery the area where the upper lip and the starting point of the nose meet came out less than expected. The doctor said, 'If we inject scar tissue now, the columella could get even smaller because of the scar injection, so if you’re thinking about AS for the columella area, it would be better to remove the scar tissue surgically then.' Is that true? Or was it a diagnosis intended to push surgery? Why I started thinking that is 3. AS did not go well The part where the upper lip and nose meet that I wanted improved did not improve, and only from the front part to the tip of the nose changed. The director said the front columella came out well, but the back columella did not come out well Then they suggested dermal injection in that area, but by the time things got to this point, I started thinking, 'Then if I had just gotten dermal injection in the back columella from the beginning, wouldn’t I have avoided going all the way to AS?' I paid 300,000 won for the setup fee, 500,000 won for donated dermis, had my ear taken again, had to open the nose one more time, and had to manage the scar again, so I went through so much, but I only lost things and I’m upset Now that I look at the columella closely, I’m not sure if it was like that from the start or if it changed after AS, but the left columella is shaped sharply while the right columella seems rounded without an angle. When I check my face, I tend to look at the right side more as a habit, so maybe that’s why I felt the columella was weaker.. If I mention things like this, will they pay more attention when doing AS again?........ No.............. At this point, I don’t even need any improvement. I’d just be happy if it could go back to the nose I had before AS, but the director has to look at it and decide, so I’m anxiously waiting day by day..
