Here’s a tip: until the surgery, you have to eat as much delicious food as possible, especially your favorite foods! And because you have to fast for 8 hours before surgery, I held out and went in the morning for my operation! When I changed clothes and was going into the operating room, I remember being so nervous that I went in while taking big deep breaths The moment I lay down on the operating table, though, I fell asleep, so it felt like I closed my eyes and opened them right away Because I had general anesthesia that day, my throat felt scratchy and I was so sleepy I could hardly keep my eyes open, so I was out of it and mostly just slept. I kept drooling too, so I used a lot of the hospital tissues in the recovery room, and I was thankful they kept bringing more! I’m so excited to see how it looks once the swelling goes down more, and Cookie is definitely going on my list too!
