Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review of cheekbone reduction surgery at Beauty Maker

I had cheekbone surgery in July and it’s now been about a month. The pre-op consultation was done only through KakaoTalk, which was convenient because I could ask about anything right away, and after that I booked the surgery date and visited the clinic. On the day of surgery, after the anesthesia wore off, I had pain and pressure around the cheekbone area, and in the recovery room I also felt nauseous and dizzy. Still, from the next day the pain quickly decreased, and from days 2 to 5 the swelling on both sides was the main thing that bothered me rather than pain. After about a week, the swelling and bruising had clearly gone down, and from day 7 or 8 I could cautiously eat regular food. Returning to daily life was faster than I expected. At first it was uncomfortable because I couldn’t open my mouth well and chewing was difficult, but the pain didn’t last long, and after about a week, going out or doing light activities wasn’t very bothersome. Now at one month, I have no pain at all and can eat most foods, but since it was a surgery without fixation pins, I’m still being careful when eating. I also liked that the director personally handled everything from consultation to surgery and treatment. After the surgery, it was clearly visible that the side cheekbones had gone down, and even the hollow cheeks that used to be severe improved a bit, so I’m generally satisfied with the result. However, there wasn’t much change in the front cheekbones or the 45-degree cheekbones, and there is a very small scar left at the incision site. Overall, the initial swelling made me worry for a few days, but the pain subsided quickly and recovery was fairly fast. Especially if you have very prominent side cheekbones, you may feel the effect of the surgery even more.
