Nose Surgery Reviews

First nose surgery review (low nose, short nose, upturned nose, bulbous nose)

Here’s my review of nose surgery for a short nose + low nose + upturned nose + bulbous nose! My nose was originally short and low, and it also had an upturned-nose feel plus a bulbous tip, so after thinking about it for a long time, I finally got nose surgery. I thought my nose wasn’t the easy kind to operate on, and I was worried that if the surgery was done poorly it could end up looking even more unnatural, so I chose the hospital very carefully. That’s why I started by setting my criteria and looking around. The criteria I considered important were ✔ 10+ years of experience ✔ one-doctor clinic ✔ one surgery per day ✔ a hospital specializing in noses, and I actually went to about five consultations. What stood out to me during the consultations was that, probably because my nose was low, most places focused on how much it could be raised and how to create height. At Yerom Plastic Surgery, though, I remember they looked at my nose and talked about which direction would be best rather than just making it higher. Of course, since I was paying for the surgery, I did hope for a dramatic change. But because it was my first surgery and I really did not want revision surgery, I wanted a direction that would make my nose as stable and beautiful as possible for my face rather than just making it high and flashy. So after the consultation, I decided to have the surgery with Director Na Min-hwa at Yerom Plastic Surgery. The photo was taken while I still had swelling after the surgery, but compared to before the surgery, my nose looks longer than before and the tip feels more refined. Especially from the front, the bulbous-nose look that had bothered me seems to have reduced a bit, so I’m satisfied. It’s not the final result yet, so I think I need to keep watching the swelling go down. Still, what I wanted was not a nose that was simply high, but one that suits my face and is clearly improved, and so far it seems to be going in the direction I wanted, so I’m happy. I’m leaving this review in hopes it helps people like me who are deliberating over which hospital to choose because they have a short nose / low nose / upturned nose / bulbous nose all together!
