Discomfort / complexes before surgery
1. The strength going into my eyes was uneven. One eye would open wide with force, but I could feel that the other eye wasn’t getting proper strength.
1-1. Since the strength for opening my eyes was different, it made me look like I had strabismus --> this was my biggest complex
2. Since I had completely monolid eyes, I felt that my gaze looked sharp/intimidating.
3. Small eyes
After surgery
1. I became able to open my eyes with firm strength --> should I say this had a confidence-boosting effect more than I expected?
My gaze changed
2. I got inner double eyelids, so my eyes looked softer. But rather than just looking soft, because I can use strength like in point 1, I became able to have confident and kind-looking eyes.

It took about 3 weeks to recover enough for daily life, and to reduce swelling quickly, I walked every night. When a lot of the bruising had gone down, I also went to the gym and did cardio.
They said if too much pressure is put on the eyes, the tied sutures could come undone, so they told me to avoid excessive strength training.
It seems to take at least 3 months for the swelling to go down completely and for everything to settle.
I wrote this in a terse informal style to make it easier to write, so please understand haha
