Breast Surgery Reviews

Day 1 review after nipple reduction surgery

I’m an unmarried woman in my mid-30s with an A cup. My nipple size has always been relatively large compared to my breasts, so I’ve been a little stressed about it. In my mid-20s, I developed a fibroid near the nipple of my right breast and had it removed with a MAMMOTOME procedure. About 10 years later, it seems the balance of the fatty tissue around the nipple was off, and it started sagging more and more downward... It wasn’t just the size; even visually, the position looked wrong, so it became even more stressful. After looking up some reviews, I saw that quite a few people were satisfied after surgery, so I had a consultation and went ahead with surgery right away. It was such a simple procedure that it only took 3 hours until I left the hospital. There is a bit of a stinging feeling since last night, but after one day, my impression is that it doesn’t interfere with daily life. The only inconvenience is handling things before and after sweating or showering, and avoiding friction around the nipple area. After the surgery, my entire abdomen was wrapped in bandages and kept that way for 2 days. I thought the stitches would be removed after 1 week, but I was told they would be removed in the 3rd week, which surprised me a little. Since I had a large enough excision to remove the milk ducts, they said time was needed so the surgical site wouldn’t open up. Anyway, now that the area that always stressed me out has been addressed, I feel relieved. I’ll write about the stitch removal after 20 days and the review after that when I remember.
