This is a review written after really thorough hospital hunting. I visited 5 hospitals. Then let’s start this boring review!
ㅂ ㄱㄱㅈ - Consultation fee: none. They explained the functional side in a really professional way here. Among the hospitals I visited, they seemed clearly the strongest in function. But because the doctor was an ENT specialist, I wasn’t sure whether they’d also be good at cosmetic nose surgery, so I passed. The price was centered on functional rhinoplasty, so the cosmetic nose surgery cost was the lowest among the places I visited.
ㅂㄹㅋ ㄱㅈ - Consultation fee: 10,000 won. They also explained the functional side very well here. They said that if I had surgery here, they’d make sure the paperwork was well prepared afterward so I could definitely get insurance reimbursement, and they seemed very experienced. They recommended a natural nose style, and although many hospitals recommended adding silicone to the bridge, this was the only place that didn’t recommend it. They also showed me post-op reviews from face types similar to mine, and I thought I might do it here if I had surgery, but the doctor who handles eye surgery took a long vacation, so it unfortunately didn’t make the cut. I wanted to do eyes and nose at the same timeㅠ The price was mostly based on functional rhinoplasty, and the cosmetic nose cost was average among the places I visited.
ㄷㅇㅇ ㅂㄱㅇ - Consultation fee: 20,000 won. First of all, the hospital is really big, and it felt like there were lots of doctors, almost like a plastic surgery school. It was the first place I visited while hunting around, so I couldn’t ask things in a very detailed way, but here they focused more on cosmetic rhinoplasty than functional rhinoplasty. You first consult with an ENT doctor, then meet a plastic surgeon. There wasn’t any special feature compared with the other hospitals, and the price was similar too. This was also the only place that took a 50,000 won deposit.
