My face wasn't originally the kind that had a lot of fat, but the jaw angles were developed to both sides, so when seen from the front my face looked wide and angular, which was my biggest concern. I also tried skincare and contour injections, but it was hard to change the bone line itself. So while looking into contour surgery, I consulted several hospitals, and in the end I had surgery at ㅇㅇㄷ Hospital. What I considered important when choosing a hospital was not wanting a huge change no matter what, but a natural line that suits my face, and I felt that this matched well during the consultation. What I wanted was not an overly strong V-line, but to soften the impression of looking wide and angular, and that was the direction they explained, which is why I decided to go ahead. The surgery was a square jaw reduction with contouring type 1, and now, one month later, I'm recovering while feeling satisfied because my facial line looks much more refined. Before, when I took front-facing photos, I was always bothered by my jawline, but now the feeling that the lower face spreads out has lessened, and my face shape feels much softer too. Especially from the side, the angle that used to protrude below the ears has become smoother, and that's the part I like most. What I wanted was not a noticeable transformation but a naturally refined look, and the current result is exactly in that direction, so I'm satisfied. It's still the period when the residual swelling needs to go down a bit more, but I can see the line settling more as time passes, so I'm waiting.
