3 months after nose surgery at ㅇㅇㅂ, living my second life

Everyone, it’s finally been 3 months since I had my nose surgery! I really thought time would never pass, but the swelling has already gone down and the line has settled in, so I came to leave a review. If you’re like me and were stressed about a bulbous nose, or if you want a refined nose, pay close attention. My nose surgery was a combination of implant + nasolabial angle correction + osteotomy + bulbous-nose correction + autologous costal cartilage. My nasal tip was thick and blunt because of the bulbous nose, but once it was tied in more narrowly with bulbous-nose correction and the osteotomy was done too, the frontal effect was insane. The wide-looking bridge was completely corrected, and my face looks much more three-dimensional. If I was going to spend the money and go through the pain, I wanted a refined look rather than something that didn’t show. So I used autologous costal cartilage, and the support is definitely good, so the tip stays firm and well supported. I didn’t put in an excessive amount of implant, but the line still came out smooth and nice. Of course, material choice depends on the person, but I wanted to finish it all at once with autologous costal cartilage, so keep that in mind. The nasolabial angle correction was truly a masterstroke. Once the angle between the nose and philtrum was adjusted, the old-fashioned look of the mouth protruding was completely gone, and the side profile became really elegant. What I learned while putting in so much effort researching was that it’s not just about nose height, the nasolabial angle is really important too. I recommend knowing exactly which nose you like and dislike, and taking reference photos. At one month, the swelling almost gave me appearance anxiety(?), but after 3 months, I got exactly the refined nose line I wanted, without looking overly done. My friends now ask me every time we meet where I had my nose done and keep begging me for the info. The area where the autologous cartilage was taken from hardly hurts anymore now, and the scar is fading too! If you’re deliberating about a bulbous or blunt nose, at least go get a consultation!
