6-month review after revision surgery for a low, blunt donated-rib nose in a man

This is my 6-month review after having nose surgery with Director Kim Jaeyoon at Rowell. My nose has always been low and my tip a bit blunt, so every time I took photos, it looked like it lacked dimension, which always bothered me. I thought about surgery for quite a long time, but I wanted a natural change that suited my face rather than something too flashy or artificial, so I made the decision carefully, and that’s how I ended up at Rowell. There was no aggressive sales pitch, and they explained the direction in a way that fit my face, which made me trust them. They said that rather than just making it higher, the important thing was to shape the line naturally, so I felt reassured and decided on the surgery. I had the surgery using donated rib cartilage and ear cartilage, and it’s already been 6 months. As time passed, almost all the swelling went down, and the shape of my nose feels like it has settled completely. At first, the tip felt a little hard and high, but now the texture has become much softer and the line has been organized more naturally, so I’m even more satisfied. There has been no discomfort at all in daily life, even on days with exercise or a lot of activity. I’ve adapted to the point that I don’t really think about my nose, and I’m living comfortably without pain or any foreign-body sensation. Most of all, what makes me happiest is that people around me often say I look better and that I look natural. It hardly looks like I’ve had surgery, but the overall impression of my face feels much clearer, so I’m really satisfied. If you’re thinking about surgery, I don’t think you need to worry too much. For people like me who want a natural change, I think it’s definitely worth expecting a satisfying result.
