I had previously undergone a closed nose surgery at a clinic in the provinces, but over time the silicone started to look unnatural and my nose also seemed bent. The hump on the bridge also seemed to remain, so while looking into revision nose surgery, I searched for places known for male rhinoplasty. Director Oh Se-won at Diu carefully checked the condition of my existing implant, the degree of nasal deviation, and whether the septum had been used, all while looking at my CT scan. I liked that the consultation wasn’t just about making the nose higher again, but also considered which design would suit me best. I underwent revision nose surgery by replacing the existing silicone with a custom implant. Since it was a custom implant, there’s no discomfort, and it seems the previously drooping area was improved well by extending the septum with donated rib cartilage. When I take photos, the bent-looking nose and the droopy-looking nose always bothered me, but I guess they say a man’s nose is everything for a reason. I like that the doctor reflected the parts I wanted well! I went back for a follow-up six months after surgery, and he still looked after me carefully, and since the shape has been maintained well, I felt relieved.
