Eye Surgery Reviews

1 month after double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty!

I had no double eyelids!!! My eyes weren’t especially small, but I had weak eyelid-opening strength so I was always tired.. and I heard a lot that I looked sleepy.. So I thought, ah, I need to strengthen my eyes a bit, and that’s why I had surgery! I like natural-looking eyes, so I looked for a place that could make me look more defined while keeping my overall impression, and I ended up getting surgery at a clinic that consulted in a way that matched my needs! After surgery, besides my eyes feeling heavy because of the swelling, the best thing was being able to open my eyes without straining my forehead or the area between my brows. When I went for my 3-week checkup, most of the swelling had gone down, so I didn’t really have anything to ask the doctor, but the fact that he brought up the epicanthoplasty scar and swelling first was nice I was worried because the inner corner area was red and had raised tissue, but he said that was the worst it would get and that it would gradually go away, so I felt relieved! In fact, now only a little redness remains! Even before, my eyes weren’t that small, so when I said I was getting double eyelid surgery, a lot of people around me were against it... but now everyone says it looks so natural and suits me so well that their opposition feels pointless I wanted to focus on becoming more defined rather than making my eyes bigger, but not only did I become more defined, my eyes also got a lot bigger, so the empty space in my face looks smaller than before! Even though it’s only been one month, I’m so satisfied to be out of that blurry-looking impression. And honestly, when the doctor recommended epicanthoplasty, I was skeptical, but they opened only the Mongolian fold and did it to a degree that doesn’t affect my overall impression, which I really like!
