I had the surgery at Log Plastic Surgery with Dr. Yoon Su-gwang. A low, wide nose was a complex of mine, and I used to cover it with makeup because I was scared. So I really thought a lot about whether to get rhinoplasty at all, and what material I should use. After a lot of deliberation, I used a custom 3D implant and donated rib cartilage as the materials for my first surgery. I also had lengthening and alar reduction. For the first two weeks after surgery, the discomfort was quite bad. The hardest period was probably from the day after surgery until around day 4. From week 3, I started to adapt and felt a bit more able to live normally, and I could see the swelling going down, so I slowly started getting excited. There’s still some minor swelling left, but I wanted to show it off, so I’m posting before-and-after comparison photos.
