After giving birth, for the first time in 10 years, the nose I had surgery on turned red. I had silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage used. I went to the hospital and they said it seemed to be because my immunity had dropped, so they gave me antibiotics and I’m taking them, but I’m anxious so I’m planning to remove the silicone.. For the revision surgery, I consulted at V and I. They said they would remove only the silicone through a closed approach and fill in the unevenness with ear cartilage grafting. They said that if the silicone is taken out, the compressed area could sink in deeply Ugh, I already set the surgery date but I’m so scared.. Would it be better to just take the antibiotics and hold out.. I’m worried I’ll just make things worse by doing revision surgery for nothing But now that I’ve had inflammation once, I can’t sleep at night because I’m scared the silicone will cause contracture. Every day I check in the mirror while holding my baby to see if my nose has started to rise up My anxiety is at its peak. Thinking about going in for surgery after leaving my baby behind feels overwhelming, and ugh.. I’m wondering whether surgery without an implant would free me from contracture or inflammation.. I’m feeling lost about whether it’s okay to have surgery not long after giving birth, and I’d really appreciate some information from people who’ve had revision surgery at V please..

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 6 Filter out viral clinics?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 6 Scheduled for a fourth open removal
I had my first surgery, then a revision, and now I’m planning to have it removed this time. It’s been 8 months since the revision, and the reason is severe pain. I think it may be diffuse pain caused by the foreign-body sensation. What…
