Nose Surgery Reviews

Real review of front-view bulbous nose escape nostril-tip surgery (ear cartilage + septum), no implant!

Since childhood, my facial features and their overall balance were decent, and I already had double eyelids, but my nose bridge was a little low and wide, and above all, my nasal tip looked blunt from the front. From the front, it had that classic bulbous-nose look where it seemed a little unattractive and spread out. Depending on my condition or swelling, some days it looked okay, but on other days it looked really unattractive, so it was stressful. When editing photos, I often felt that just narrowing the width a little and refining the tip would make a huge difference. Out of my two hospital visits, this was my first time going to a plastic surgery clinic by myself. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so kind that I felt much less tense, and the director was kind too. I said I did not want an implant in the bridge and wanted improvement mainly in the tip and front view, and they fully respected my opinion. They accurately understood my original nose shape and needs, and after a 3D CT scan they analyzed my nasal structure and suggested only the exact surgery I needed, namely ear cartilage for the tip and correcting the step-off, which made me trust them and decide with confidence. Excluding content provision and the review discount, the cost is a bit high, but the result was so good that I am satisfied. I do not see any downside to writing a review, and actually want to write one, because places that do this well deserve to do even better. The biggest change I feel is the front view effect. The nasal tip that used to look round and spread out from the front now looks slim yet softly rounded, so my face from the front looks cleaner. Since nothing artificial was inserted into the bridge, I feel less psychologically worried about side effects, and it feels like the surgery focused exactly on the part of my nose that had always been my biggest complex. For people who are scared of putting anything into the bridge and just want to naturally improve the blunt bulbous-nose look at the tip, I recommend a method like mine, where the tip cartilage is tied together, ear cartilage is added to give it a slight lift, and the step-off is filled with septal cartilage. I strongly recommend director Lee Ji-hwan at Between Plastic Surgery for people who hate looking obviously operated on. Even my mom and friends could not easily tell, and I feel like it does not look very obvious either. If you compare my pre-surgery photos side by side with the current ones, you can clearly see the improvement and how much prettier it looks, in the subtle celebrity-work-done-little-by-little way. If you think plastic surgery should always look dramatic and obvious, I recommend adding silicone here or going to a completely different clinic.
