There was a time when I was so consumed by appearance anxiety that I fixated only on my nose every time I looked at photos... My nose was originally really small and short, and from the front you could see my nostrils clearly and the tip was blunt too. I managed to hide it in selfies with angles, but in photos taken by other people my facial proportions looked so frustrating that I wanted to delete them all. I kept putting off surgery for years because I was scared, but I kept getting frustrated every time I took photos, so I finally started visiting clinics Then I saw my friend's nose job and it turned out really well, so I went to the same place my friend went Honestly, because it was my first nose surgery I was so scared that I felt like I couldn't do it anywhere unless I'd already seen the results.. At first, looking at the swelling, I thought, 'Was this a mistake? Did it get ruined again?' and my mental state was wrecked, but as time passed it gradually settled. Before, you could see my nostrils first from the front, but now that short-looking feeling has decreased a lot and the blunt tip looks much neater. It's not the kind of nose that makes everyone say, wow, she got such an over-the-top nose job, but my facial proportions changed so the whole vibe feels different? People around me didn't say, 'Did you get your nose done?' so much as 'You look prettier somehow, your whole vibe changed.' Most of all, now when I take photos I don't have to go crazy trying to find an angle that shows my nostrils less, which is great. I was so frustrating for putting it off out of fear for years, and now I just wish I'd done it sooner..
