After my first surgery with autologous costal cartilage, I decided to have the entire nose removed because of discomfort and complications, and went there for a consultation. I showed photos and explained the problematic areas, and told the director that I didn’t know exactly how it had been operated on, only that the tip had been raised with autologous costal cartilage, the columella had been lowered, and the bridge had been built up with silicone. I set a date and had it done under local anesthesia. It was truly so scary to have the nose opened and everything done while I was awake Still, they removed everything quickly and cleanly. Recovery was also fast, and I was satisfied with the aftercare. The director is skilled.
