Eye Surgery Considerations

Star Community Review

It has been a little over a year since I had functional rhinoplasty, so I’m leaving a review. Since this is written after some time has passed, I’m trying to write as objectively as possible about how I felt. During the pre-op consultation, they explained both my current nasal condition and the functional aspects together, which made it easy to understand. I liked that they didn’t just focus on making it look flashy, but considered a shape that suited my face along with the functional side as well. They answered each of my questions one by one, which helped me a lot in deciding on surgery. The part that reassured me the most when deciding on surgery was that an anesthesiology specialist was on site. Since this was a surgery involving general anesthesia, safety was my biggest concern, and having that well established reduced my mental burden a lot. I also felt reassured that the operating room CCTV could be viewed. Those kinds of things made it feel like everything was managed transparently, so I felt I could trust them with it. Now it has been a little over a year since surgery, and I’m really satisfied with the results. As time passed, the swelling went down and it gradually settled into a natural look, and now people around me often say I look better, as if it had always been my original nose. The functional side has also been fine without any discomfort, and the shape isn’t overdone, so I’m very satisfied.
