Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Wide cheekbones and lower-face complex, gone! Review of a natural yet striking line

Hello! After spending years worrying about it, I finally got contour surgery 🥹 I’ve always had a really bad complex about my wide cheekbones, lower face, and cheek fat. Even taking photos was stressful because I had to think about angles all the time. I read every review and got consultations at several hospitals. At first I kept saying I wanted something natural... but as I read more reviews, I realized I was really the type who prefers a pretty, glamorous line. I looked for a place where I could get the effect I wanted properly once I was on the operating table, and where there weren’t any side-effect reviews. So I put a lot more effort into finding clinics with that kind of feeling. During the consultation at Cookie, the director first asked me about the image I wanted and the parts I was worried about, and I liked that the consultation was based on the balance of the whole face rather than just reducing everything unconditionally. There was no feeling of being rushed at all, and while looking at CT scans and patient photos, they showed me similar cases and before-and-after results, and even drew directly on my CT to mark the parts that would be cut, so I understood everything quickly. Also, I saw a pretty patient in the waiting room who had come out after swelling care, and she had exactly the face shape I wanted The surgeries I had were square jaw surgery + zygoma reduction + genioplasty + buccal fat removal + facial double-cheek liposuction + double chin liposuction! On the day of surgery I was a little nervous, but once I got into the operating room I was calmer than I expected. Right after surgery there was swelling, but it was much better than I had feared, and people around me also said I looked more normal than expected. I was satisfied with how fast the recovery was too. Looking at the before and after, the angular mandibular line became a soft curve, and the overall face width got slimmer. After buccal fat removal and facial liposuction, the line from below the cheekbones to the jawline became continuous, so my face looks slimmer. Genioplasty changed the side profile a lot, and the lower-face proportion improved. With the double chin liposuction too, the line from the chin to the neck turned out clean and neat. My family and friends also told me my face shape looked prettier, which made me so happy, and these days I barely need to do any shading ^^ Overall, it was a surgery with a very high level of satisfaction. If you’re someone like me who has been worrying about wide cheekbones, the lower face, and cheek fat all together, I think correcting everything at once while looking at the overall balance is much more natural and creates a more striking line:)
