The thing that surprised me most after getting breast surgery was that the parts of daily life that used to bother me became a lot less noticeable than I expected. Before, even when choosing underwear, the size was always awkward, so I would just wear something that sort of fit and leave it at that, but now I enjoy picking out styles I actually want. In particular, there were clothes I had given up on before because of my chest, but these days I get to try wearing them again sometimes.Before the surgery, my biggest worry was what if I don’t like the result, but once it was actually done, I even wondered if I had been worrying for nothing.Of course, not everything was comfortable from the very beginning, and there were things I had to be careful about in daily life, but I got used to it faster than I expectedWhat I’m most satisfied with now isn’t just the breasts themselves, but the changes I naturally feel in everyday life. Being able to put on clothes I used to avoid without thinking about it and go out is secretly the best thing of all.While I was deliberating about surgery, I spent a huge amount of time looking things up, but in the end it feels like I spent longer worrying than the surgery itself
