The consultation was kind and they spent a long time talking with me, which I liked. They also shared the surgery method in detail, which was really good from a patient’s perspective. That said, I thought the surgical method was somewhat unusual, and it seemed like they were suggesting taking cartilage or autologous material, so I felt a bit pressured about the material part. Also, they had already removed the right ear cartilage twice, so my AirPods wouldn’t even fit, and then they said they wanted to remove the other ear too, which made me hesitate.
