Review My inner eyebrow area used to droop downward, so even when I was relaxed I had a fairly strong, angry-bird-like expression. My forehead and brows were generally lowered, making my eyes look compressed, and even when I opened my eyes comfortably, I looked tired or angry. I also had a habit of unconsciously using my forehead muscles to open my eyes more clearly, so I wanted a fundamental improvement and started looking into a forehead lift.
I had a consultation with Director Yoo Gi-hyeon at Gift Plastic Surgery, and what I liked was that he didn’t just focus on lifting the brows a lot, but explained how far they should be lifted for my eye shape and facial proportions to look natural. He accurately pointed out the drooping inner brow area and the part where my eyes looked pressed down, so I trusted him during the consultation. I was worried I might end up looking too surprised if they were lifted too much, but that was considered in the design as well.
What I liked most after the forehead lift was that the angry-bird feeling in my brows was softened, and the heavy, compressed look pressing down on the area above my eyes became much gentler.
