I had alar reduction surgery 15 years ago. Since it was barely surgery at all, just a tiny 1 mm stitch, it was done in a very short time. I came home and healed in a week without any pain. It’s a procedure I’m very happy with, so if anyone is considering it, I recommend it. The only regret is that only the alae were addressed; I think it would have been even prettier if I had also done the bridge.
