Two-Month Review After Bulbous Nose Surgery

This is my two-month review after having nose surgery with Director Lee Ji-hwan at Between Plastic Surgery. Before surgery, my nose tip looked broad and blunt from the front, and my nostrils were very visible when I looked straight ahead, which was my biggest complex. I also had a slight hump on the bridge, so my side profile was not smooth either, and I always felt disappointed every time I looked in the mirror.I told them during consultations that I did not want custom implants like silicone that would make my face look artificial and not suit me. Since my bridge was not especially low to begin with, after discussing it with the director, we decided to proceed without an implant and not raise the bridge separately.I had the hump reduced, and the tip was corrected using septal cartilage and ear cartilage to improve the bulbous nose and visible nostrils.Right after surgery, I was surprised that there was almost no pain compared to what I had expected. In fact, I think the most painful part was when the stitches were removed later! Please also make sure to take good care afterward, such as scar laser treatment for the area behind the ear where the ear cartilage was harvested and the columella incision line! The nostrils that used to show too much from the front were clearly improved by bringing the tip down naturally, and as the broad, blunt bulbous nose narrowed, my face gained more dimension and I’ve heard many times that my impression looks much more refined!Even without using silicone, the hump was smoothly shaved down and the nose tip became more defined, so the side profile also rose in a really natural and pretty way
