In my early 20s, I had surgery without researching much, after being told that using the septal cartilage was always best... My columella ended up completely bent and my nose became crooked, but I was too busy living my life to even think about revision surgery if I considered the recovery period. It was always stressful when taking photos or meeting people, but the clinic kept brushing it off, saying it was swelling and that my face had always been asymmetrical... Only now am I trying to gather my energy again and look up information... If you’re considering nose surgery, please think carefully unless you truly have a functional problem...
